Volunteers are the lifeblood of community sport and physical activity and without them most clubs, groups and sessions across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland simply wouldn't happen.
Therefore, we understand how important it is for organisations to recruit new volunteers as well as inspire, manage and support those already helping out. We also want to ensure that, as part of the workforce, volunteers have the opportunity to develop both personal and professional skills alongside the organisations that support them.
This page aims to help you utilise a range of resources to recruit and retain volunteers, how to advertise opportunities, as well as provide you with a variety of learning and development opportunities to upskill your workforce.
