About Age UK Bromsgrove, Redditch & Wyre Forest
Age UK Bromsgrove Redditch & Wyre Forest (Age UK BRWF) is a local, independent, self-funding charity, supporting older people across the districts of Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest. Our aim as a charity is to make North Worcestershire a better place for people to grow older, by delivering a range of local support and services for the over 50's, promoting independence and wellbeing.
Our support and services are focused around three main areas:
- Our free Information & Advice Service - Our trained advisors offer a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers on a range of topics including social care, benefits and pensions advice, staying safe, warm and independent at home as well as support for carers
- Our At Home Service which focuses on supporting people to remain independent in their own homes with our team of Home Workers, Gardeners and Handypersons)
- Services and support aimed at promoting independence and preventing and reducing loneliness & isolation – including our free Befriending service along with a range of Groups and Activities (including Keep Fit, Move More, Bowls and Tai Chi classes)
