About Glasgow Sunflowers
We play baseball in Queen's Park Recreational Ground on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. We aim to promote the equality and inclusion of women, non-binary and all trans people in sport and in the community in Glasgow.
The club aims to provide an environment that improves the quality of our players lives through community sport, improving both their physical and mental health. We are doing this by creating a culture of transparency where every member is involved in the decision-making process of the team which creates a safe and welcoming space for all our members to feel respected, supported and seen in.
One of our main principles is financial inclusion, so we refuse to charge our players to use equipment, attend training sessions or take part in games. This is to ensure that everyone can access the space, regardless of their income.
