About Leicester Bears Handball Club
Leicester Bears is a new handball club that represents Leicestershire. With it's main activity focused in the heart of Leicestershire (Leicester), the club aims to cater for all ages and abilities regardless if you are an ex-professional or a complete beginner. The club was founded in 2024 by Master Coach Alexander Themis and it's ambition and vision is to offer handball playing opportunities from youth level all the way to senior with a particular focus on grassroots.
We want to foster an environment that promotes and encourages, social, recreational and fun connections between individuals, in conjunction with the ambition to enter competition and perform at the highest level.
We would like to believe the club is as inclusive and accessible to all, and feedback is always welcome.
