About Meadow School Of Riding
The riding school horses and ponies range from 11hh to 17hh and are suitable for beginners and advanced riders.
All lessons take place either in the indoor or outdoor school and can be either private or group depending on individual requirements. All lessons must be prebooked - see prices.
Group lessons are arranged according to age and ability with adult and children's lessons available separately. Lessons take place during the day, Tuesday – Sunday, with late night opening (till 9.30pm) Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Facilities include:
- an indoor school
- excellent hacking around Beacon Country Park and beyond.
- mounting platforms
- accessibility for disabled people, including a hoist
Hacking is available for the more experienced rider (riders able to canter confidently), Tuesday – Sunday during daylight hours.
Special activities such as pony care days and pub rides are also arranged - see events.
