About Oakham Tai Ji Quan Dao

My name is Jim Ward, and I teach traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan & Qi Gong, have been practising martial arts for 51 years and Taijiquan for 24 years. Oakham group meets every Tuesday and Thursday at Langham Village Hall.

My teacher is Bob Chidgey of Stamford Tai Chi Club, and our Sifu is Herman Chan-Pensley, whose school, Tai Ji Quan Dao (The Way of Tai Ji Quan) was established in 1987. I train with them as a member of their instructors' group.

An introduction to the class

The Oakham group meets every Tuesday and Thursday at Langham Village Hall. Spaces limited so please email or ring to reserve your place. These classes are part of a local group of the Tai Ji Quan Dao school.

There are classes at 2pm and 7.30pm on Tuesdays, and 1pm (Qi Gong only) & 2.30pm on Thursdays.
