British Cycling Talent ID Day
British Cycling is looking for the next team of stokers and pilots to continue their world leading success in tandem racing.
The stoker is a rider with some degree of visual impairment, who provides the speed and power to the tandem. The pilot is an able-bodied rider, who guides the tandem.
Tandem bikes tend to race on both the track and on the road, across a number of different events.
What does the Talent ID Day look like?
- On Saturday 3rd August and Sunday 4th August 2024, British Cycling will be hosting a Talent ID for both stokers and pilots at the home of cycling – The National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
- British Cycling will provide you with the opportunity to test yourself on static bikes and have the chance to develop your skills in tandem riding with the support of our qualified coaches and experience pilots.
