Every child deserves to enjoy playing sport and engage in physical activity in a safe and supportive environment, where they feel heard, understood, and valued.
This interactive classroom based workshop will help you recognise and respond to concerns a child may be experiencing, or be at risk of experiencing, harm, neglect, or abuse.
You will learn the importance of person-centred care and taking an individualised approach to your coaching practice, that puts the child or young person at the heart of every session.
Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is aimed anyone involved in sport, physical activity that may need to administer emergency first aid. It is also suitable for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
This course will take place on Saturday 7th December 24, from 9:30am - 4:30pm.
This will take place at The Royal College for the Blind (The Point 4 Centre), Venns Lane, Hereford, HR1 1DT.
This course is for people aged 18+ (age at the time of the course).

You're invited to attend our club welfare forum for anyone involved in sport and physical activity in Somerset, but in particular those in your clubs who hold the role of 'club welfare officer' or 'safeguarding lead'.
