About LLR Girls Can In The Community Small Grants

*This fund has now closed as all funds have been allocated.*

Utilising Sport England's This Girl Can funding, Active Together are looking to support local groups and organisations working with women, girls and those identifying as female to grow an existing or to activate a new physical activity offer in the community and inspire more females to get active.

If your project is in Leicestershire, Leicester or Rutland and shares our aim of helping all females to find an activity that is right for them, regardless of age, background or ability, then this is an exciting opportunity to build on the legacy of the national campaign. Since its launch in 2015, This Girl Can has inspired nearly 3 million more women be to be active.

All projects that work directly with females and that meet the criteria will be considered.

Funding amount:

Grants of up to £500 will be considered. However, if your project meets the criteria and requires additional funding, please contact us for a discussion.

Please only apply for what you really need so we can support as many organisations as possible.

We recommend you getting in touch before making an application to discuss your options and what would be appropriate.

Funding deadlines:

Applications will be assessed on a quarterly basis, and the fund will remain open until 31st March 2024, or until all funds have been fully allocated (whichever comes first). *Please note all funding for organisations in Leicester City has now been allocated, funding is still available for organisations in Leicestershire*

Multiple applications for different projects can be submitted, but organisations can only have awards of up to £500 (unless case made) in any 12-month period.

Please ensure you have downloaded and read the guidance document and eligibility criteria before starting your application (see below).
