B&Q Foundation Grants

We help charities who are supporting people in need in the UK – those experiencing homelessness, in financial hardship, impacted by health, disability, or other disadvantage or distress. We believe that everyone needs a place to feel at home. So, we are looking to fund projects that decorate, renovate, or create spaces where people can feel at home and have a sense of belonging. This can be both indoor and outdoor.

Grants typically meet the following criteria:

• We generally support with funding of up to £10k for building or indoor projects and £5k for garden projects.
• We love working with different types of charities. We focus on funding charities that support people who are most in need because of homelessness, financial hardship, sickness, disability, or other disadvantage.
• The types of projects we have supported are improvements such as decorating, fixing roofs, refurbishment of garden space, upgrading key fixtures and fittings, and creating new buildings or rooms.

The times and dates for the 2024 funding rounds are:

• From 22nd Jul - 9th Aug 2024 (6pm)
• From 28th Oct - 15th Nov 2024 (6pm)

You will be notified on the outcome of your application by email within 8 weeks of the round closing.
