Come and join us for an amazing session where you can improve your current volleyball level, challenge yourself, exercise, meet new people, and above all, have loads of fun!
Session type: Intermediate / Advanced Women Beach Volleyball Session
Day & Times: Tuesday, 18:30 to 20:00
Arrival time: Please arrive 15 minutes before session starting time to allow for check-in and warm up time
Location: Cardiff Beach Volleyball, Victoria Park, 17 Thompson Ave, Cardiff CF5 1EY

Session Description & Level: This session is open to intermediate and advanced women. These sessions are open for progressing players looking to reach the next level by developing tactical elements of their game, as well as improve their technical skills and ability. Players are expected to have good/strong level of ball control, and/or good/strong blocking skills, good/strong serving, in addition to good/strong attacking skills. It is also expected that players have good knowledge around court positioning, beach volleyball rules, and are comfortable in medium to high level competitions.
What should you expect from the session? In these sessions you'll have the opportunity to push yourself to the next level, with more complex and dynamic drills that will push you to develop your technique. In these sessions, you'll work on advanced skills, such as different types of sets, hand setting techniques, different types of hitting and shots, different types of serve, as well as develop block and defence skills depending on type of attack. You’ll also have the opportunity work on to advanced and out-of-system setting, advanced defence and blocking skills, and aggressive attacking and serving. These sessions will also focus on the tactical elements of the game.
