Activity Information
This is a mindful total body Pilates workout.
Suitable for both male & female age 18+. Mixed abitlity - Options are given throughout so everybody can work at their own level.
You will need to bring a mat and a small towel, and a bottle of water.
Please wear clothing you can move freely in, avoiding zips/buttons if possible. We work in socks or barefoot.
Every class takes you through a set-up, warm-up, main exercise, cool-down with stretch. We do different exercises each week to ensure variety and allow your body to learn and benefit as much as possible.
It's a small class so that you can benefit from the teaching and help of the instructor.
You'll find a friendly & welcoming atmosphere.
Pilates will help with core strength, toning, mobility & flexibility, balance, coordination & relaxation. It will help to improve posture, reduce stress & tension, reduce aches & pains, support other fitness & sport specific training, connect your mind & body to work efficiently and effectively.
Free parking is available at the Scout Hut. Please note this class takes place in the upstairs meeting room - there is no lift.
