About Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator

Sky Blues in the Community are looking to recruit a Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator.

The main purpose of this role is to work as part of the School Sport and Participation Team to create, deliver and evaluate classroom and physical activity based educational lessons covering several national curriculum subjects as well as providing CPD sessions for primary school teachers.

The post holder will design and coordinate a calendar of themed events, tournaments and competitions to promote the Premier League Primary Stars project and Sky Blues in the Communities school sport offer.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows.


To manage the delivery of the Premier League Primary Stars programme on behalf of Sky Blues in the Community including designing the programme around specific school needs, planning and delivering sessions, collecting data and evaluating the impact and writing project monitoring report.
Support the development and delivery of staff and teachers through an extensive CPD programme.
Develop relationships with local schools, Multi Academy Trusts and School Games Organisers to improve the quality of education on offer locally.
To attend Premier League meetings and training courses in relation to the Premier League Primary Stars programme.
Ensure that the Premier League Primary Stars Programme Is fully compliant with all safeguarding, health and safety and data protection legislation.
Monitor and evaluate the Premier League Primary Stars programme and other school sport programmes ensuring that all data is up to date and accurate in our monitoring system.
Undertake regular professional development days as set by Sky Blues in the Community to continue own personal development.
Carry a fully stocked first aid kit when coaching.
Undertake other duties as required to ensure efficient delivery of Sky Blues in the Community sessions.
To undertake relevant training courses as requested by Sky Blues in the Community.
Always represent Sky Blues in the Community and Coventry City Football Club in a professional manner.
This full-time position will be based at the Coventry Building Society Arena. However, the post holder will be required to travel to schools and community facilities across Coventry and Warwickshire to deliver the programme. The candidate will be expected to work occasional evenings and weekends and maintain high levels of customer service and cleanliness.
