About People Business Partner (Yorkshire County Cricket Club)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced HR / People generalist to join our team during this transformation period as a People Business Partner. This incredible role offers the mandate to genuinely shape, develop and drive positive impact across Yorkshire Cricket. You will work closely with senior management and within a highly regarded People and Culture team to provide people and culture advice, support and knowledge that is tailored to business needs and aligned to strategic objectives across the Club, Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and the Yorkshire Cricket Board through best practice. This role would suit an engaging, detail-orientated HR professional who thrives in working in a project environment where they can combine day-to-day business support with the delivery of value-add HR projects relating to mental health, learning, performance management and much more.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:

  • 3+ years' experience working as a HR generalist providing support and advice to managers and employees
  • An understanding of relevant UK law and compliance in all relevant areas of P&C and it's application in employee relations.
  • Formal qualifications in human resources
  • Previous experience of working with HRIS systems to help store and track data
  • An understanding and experience of delivering projects within an equity, diversity and inclusion framework including inclusive learning practices
