Job Title: Community Sport and Physical Activity Development Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week. Some unsociable hours will be required.

Contract Type: 3 year Full-time

Salary: £24,350 - £25,000

Location: Countywide

Brief Description: This is a full- time role working with local communities to support the development of opportunities for children and young people to engage in sport and physical activity.

Personal Specification: We are looking for an individual who has a passion for sport and activity and an understanding of some of the barriers to participation for less active or less engaged children and young people.

Some experience of working with local communities and organisations and the ability to engage, inspire and communicate well with children and adults from diverse backgrounds.

At least two years working or volunteering in a sport and physical activity environment and have coaching or leadership experience.

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
