New toy to be seen on night runs

now the nights are drawing in you can still be active you just need to be bright and visible. I have ran for several years at night time with a head torch which worked well for me, but I wear that on top of a fluffy headband and while it's still not too cold I thought I'd invest in a chest running light.
i have wanted one for the last couple of years so I finally got one hoping it will help get me out the door on these Autumnal nights. Tested it last night doing intervals with my running group, I'm a slower runner but I had such fun and the the light was brilliant.
it helps to have a running group and I'd encourage anyone to go along to their local group to help maintain motivation, feel safer at night in a group and for the social benefits.
Also think about a spring time goal - enter a 10km/ half marathon or aim for an improved park run time to keep you active over the colder darker months.
