'Let's Get Moving' aims to motivate you, me and every resident across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland to move more.
Through the collective use of the 'Let's Get Moving' strapline, we want to bring about a movement of positive physical activity change. Bringing together those partners who are supporting local residents to be physically active.
The 'Let's Get Moving' strapline was developed using research with our inactive audiences across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. They indicated this is the type of message that resonates with them the best.
Active Together will act as the backbone organisation of 'Let's Get Moving', however, we need individuals, communities and organisations to embed and drive this at a local level.
We want the 'Let's Get Moving' message to be versatile, being used by partners in multiple ways but at the same time creating that simple consistent message, across digital and non-digital communications and materials.
We hope that this approach allows our partners and supporters more flexibility to use the Let's Get Moving strapline alongside your existing brands, products, programmes and can easily be included within your promotional materials.
Active Together will continue to provide material to support Let's Get Moving to land locally, for example through pre-written social media content / asset creation; in which all will be available below. We look forward to seeing ongoing examples of how the Let's Get Moving strapline can be utilised locally!

Core Let's Get Moving imagery, imagery commissioned through Local Authority grants and imagery from Active Together programmes, with the appropriate consent, will be added to the Library.
It acts as the primary location for users to search and download images to use when promoting your projects. Every image that has been uploaded to the Library has full usage rights and consent, and is therefore free to use.
In order to sign up for the Library, please fill out the form below. You will then receive an email from Resource Space, providing you with your username and password, as well as a password-reset link, allowing you to change your original password. This email may appear in your Junk folder, so please keep an eye out for it.

Advocates message - "If physical activity were a drug, we would refer to it as a miracle cure, due to the great many illnesses it can prevent and help treat."
We have a role to play to promote and raise the profile of the importance of physical activity linked to good health and wellbeing. We know that not everyone feels they are able to be active and we need to provide the support and opportunities to help people to move a little more in their everyday activities. As a team we can't do this alone, we need to work with our communities and our partners and all share the messaging of "Let's Get Moving".
