Helen from Harborough
Helen was initially torn with being physically after, as she believed taking time out of her day to take part in a 60 to 90 minute yoga class, as this time could have been spent cleaning, working longer hours or being with her family. After visiting her counsellor, she realised that being active and having a hobby was a good thing, and that it would make her a better mum in the long run. Helen's hobby eventually became her career, as she became a yoga instructor.
Yoga has helped Helen improve her physical and mental wellbeing, as she now breathes better, sleeps more, is less stressed, has better posture, is more flexible/mobile and toned.
