Sarah from Leicester City
Sarah keeps active by doing good deeds for the community with GoodGym Leicester. She started running more regularly during lockdown to make time for herself after looking after her young children.
Sarah joined GoodGym Leicester to give her a purpose to keep active. She would cycle to GoodGym and complete a volunteering task, such as gardening at allotments, litter picking along the canal, or lifting crates at a food bank She would then cycle home after spending time with other like-minded GoodGym members, often involving a post-task coffee.
Keeping active has led Sarah to being able to complete challenges like the London Marathon, the Serpent Trail 100k, and the Matlock Sprint Triathlon.
