Team Leicestershire: U11 Small Schools Football

Last week we had the Team Leicestershire Small Primary Schools County Finals. 8 schools from across the county attended the event at Judgemeadow Community College.

Thank you and congratulations to everyone that took part, it was great to see everyone having fun and enjoying themselves, despite the torrential rain! The group games were all very close matches, with most teams still having a chance of progressing to the semi-finals right up until the final round of games.

There were play off matches to decide third and fourth place, along with semi-finals and finals. Once again, penalty shoot-outs where needed in both the semis and the final to decide a winner, with Gaddesby winning on both occasions!
