Let's Get Moving Champion named as one of Leicestershire's Top 30 Leaders!

We are thrilled to spotlight a Let's Get Moving Champion whose remarkable journey and achievements have not only made waves across Leicestershire but have also etched her name among one of the most influential young leaders of 2024. Laura Till has demonstrated dedication, resilience, and compassion and has now been listed as one of Leicestershire's Top 30 Under 30 Leaders by Niche Magazine, a testament to her impactful contributions and leadership.

Laura's recognition was propelled by her commitment to making a difference to the lives of those around her. Her journey of achievements began at the Leicestershire Business Awards in 2023, where she was honoured with the Unsung Hero Award following the set up of her company, AMBITION Sports Coaching Ltd in August 2021, at the age of 21. This award was to acknowledge her behind-the-scenes efforts that have significantly benefited her community and many children and young people, showcasing her dedication to service without seeking the spotlight.

Laura and her team were then selected as finalists at the prestigious National Business Awards Final, at the iconic Wembley in 2023. This distinguished recognition, in both The Positive Impact Award and Community Business of the Year categories, highlighting significant contributions to promoting sports and wellness, and nurturing personal growth.

The journey to the National Business Awards Final at Wembley demonstrated AMBITION Sports Coaching Ltd's pursuit of creating a positive and lasting impact within society. Being chosen as a finalist among many contenders showcases the company's exceptional ability to blend passion with purpose, thereby enriching lives and communities through the power of sports. This recognition served as inspiration, encouraging Laura and her team to continue their valuable work.

Laura's impact did not stop there; her advocacy for mental health awareness and support led her to be crowned with the Inspirational Award at the Little Beam Foundation Mental Health Awards in February this year. This award highlights her exceptional contribution to mental health, underscoring her role as a beacon of hope and inspiration for many.

Laura's recognition as one of Leicestershire's Top 30 Under 30 Leaders is not just a personal achievement, it serves as a powerful reminder of the difference one individual can make through passion, perseverance, and a heart for service. Her story is a source of inspiration for young leaders everywhere, encouraging them to pursue their visions and make meaningful contributions to society.

In the aftermath of a life-altering car accident in October 2019, Laura transformed a near-tragic experience into hope and ambition for herself and the community around her. Facing the daunting reality of life's fragility, Laura, having been hit by a lorry and spun across all four lanes of the M1, decided to channel her newfound perspective into something positive. This led to the establishment of AMBITION Sports Coaching Ltd in August 2021, a venture born out of personal adversity and a passionate desire to make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Following this, Laura became a Let's Get Moving Champion in 2022, and wanted to share her story and inspire as many residents throughout Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland to be physically active in a way that suits them and their lifestyle.
