The Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of ethnically diverse communities and people within your sports. A chance to shine a light on role models and best practice, inspiring greater diversity in your sports.
Public nominations have now opened for the following categories:
- Sportswoman of the Year
- Sportsman of the Year
- Sport England Community Sports Project of the Year
- England Athletics Coach of the Year
- The FA Community Champion of the Year
- Young Sports Person of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Mind Wellbeing Award
We would be grateful if you could consider any nominations from within the amazing diverse ethnicity's and cultures we have across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Last year saw a great spread of nominations via sports such as athletics, basketball and boxing amongst others. It would be fantastic to see an even broader spread of nominations from across the area.
