LTA launches wheelchair tennis event in East Midlands

With the Paralympic Games starting, and to support children and young people with a physical impairment who may have been inspired by the Olympic or Paralympic Games, the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) is hosting a Wheelchair Tennis Initiative at Nottingham Tennis Centre, Sunday 15th September.

The day is all about providing transformative and inspirational experiences for children and young people with a physical impairment to try wheelchair tennis.

Additionally, it is the LTA's opportunity to share with attendees the opportunities available to them from grassroots participation to Paralympic or Grand Slams. Whether they are new to tennis or played before, it's a great chance to learn some new skills and make new friends. More details can be seen below and all equipment (incl. sports wheelchairs) will be provided on the day:
