More success for Young People Physical Activity & Sport Hardship Fund athletes!

The Young People Physical Activity & Sport Hardship Fund has enabled a young athlete the opportunity to shine.

Cordell Potter-Hayles, a recipient of the grant, has been able to participate in training sessions at Daytona Outdoor Go-Karting in Tamworth, which have been instrumental in his development and performance.

The practice sessions at the track have allowed Cordell to hone his skills and compete at his best. Cordell is now currently preparing for the upcoming Autumn Daytona Superchamps Championship in Milton Keynes.

Cordell is making remarkable progress with his driving. In early July, he was featured in the Leicester Mercury for breaking the Leicester Teamsport track record.

Cordell is currently leading the qualifying leaderboard in his class, with just one more lap time remaining before he officially qualifies for the local finals of the British Indoor Karting Championship.

Chantal Potter, Cordell's mother, went on to say:

The support from Active Together has been a game-changer for Cordell. Your generosity has not only provided him with the resources he needed but also instilled in him a sense of confidence and determination. We are eternally grateful for your support and belief in Cordell's potential.

Thank you once again for your incredible support. It has truly made a significant difference in Cordell's journey.

The fund was aimed at helping young people overcome financial constraints affecting their continued involvement in physical activity and sport as a participant, official, coach, volunteer or talented sportsperson.
