The updated wheelchair-accessible clubs list from British Fencing is designed to serve as a valuable resource for anyone looking to join or support these clubs.
As a result of the updated list, information for where disabled individuals can participate in fencing has greatly improved.
Key Highlights include:
- There is now data on 133 wheelchair-accessible clubs—a significant increase from the 62 clubs identified in the 2023 Level Access Survey.
- While not all clubs have accessible toilets or para-fencing equipment yet, this is a huge step forward in creating a more inclusive fencing community.
The updated wheelchair-accessible clubs list reflects this progress and serves as a valuable resource for anyone looking to join or support these clubs.
