This case study highlights the achievement of Active Blaby in providing Steady Steps at the Blaby Baptist Church, offering a supportive environment for individuals to improve their strength and balance in a social setting.
The Blaby Steady Steps Plus class that runs at Blaby Baptist Church is one of the most established classes in the area and has been running for nearly ten years. Steady Steps Plus is a programme to help people improve their strength and balance in a social group setting, reducing their risk of falls.
This Case Study is taken from the Active Together Annual Review 23/24. The document provides a snapshot of the work of the Active Together Board, team and partners and what we have done in partnership to encourage the communities in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland to be physically active and move more.
