The aim of the 2022 survey was to understand the attitudes, behaviours and intentions of residents living in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland in relation to physical activity and health and wellbeing, with a focus on least active residents.
A total of 2,788 residents responses were received. This report has been structured in a way that allows the reader to easily make comparisons across a range of target groups including; all respondents, children and young people, inactive and fairly active individuals, ethnically-diverse communities, lower socio-economic groups, females and older adults.
It is intended to provide valuable insight to support the Active Together Partnership plan future service delivery and messaging to support more residents (including children and young people) to take part in regular activity, improve their health and wellbeing and take part with others within their communities.
