Sport England launch new £160m Movement Fund
Sport England has transformed their funding application process to make it easier for sports clubs and other organisations who help people to take

The fund, which is worth £160 million over the next four years, replaces the
existing Small Grants Programme and Active Together fund, and will offer crowdfunding pledges, grants and resources to provide physical
activity opportunities that can help tackle long-lasting inequalities. If your organisation and project are eligible for funding, and your project
aligns with Sport England goals, you can apply for up to

Register your Defibrillator on The Circuit to help save lives
It takes less than 5 minutes to register a defibrillator on The Circuit - the national defibrillator network, and there is no cost to register -
yet it could be the difference between life and death.
Thousands of families in the UK are left devasted by cardiac arrest every year. Early use of a defibrillator with CPR can more than double a
person's chance of survival. But if ambulance services don't know where they are, they can't direct people to them in an emergency. That's where
The Circuit comes in.
The Circuit is the national defibrillator network which provides ambulance services with visibility of the nearest defibrillator.
This helps emergency call handlers direct bystanders to their nearest defibrillator when 999 is called. At a time when every second counts
- you can make the difference.

Supporting the Sport and Physical Activity Sector to reduce Carbon Emissions
Many national level sporting and physical activity organisations are examining, now, what action they need to take to respond to the
climate emergency and contribute positively to
reducing carbon emissions. At a local level, support and action is needed and
Active Together is seeking your support to bring the Leicestershire Leicester and Rutland sport and physical activity sector together to
take action and make its contribution to reducing carbon emissions. Active Together wants to enable local action and encourage new climate friendly
behaviours among our performers, supporters, volunteers, spectators and communities.
We can all do something and play our part and
we need everyone to do something no matter how big or small.
